WHERE, please, is the ABOUT section for this MP?

Pushmataha and his family need help. His parents are unknown, clearly not the sun and the moon. He had two documented siblings and is believed to have had five children by his two wives. Only the children of the second wife, Immayahoka, are documented. The name of his first wife and their son are both unknown. His four documented children are Johnson, Betsy Moore, Martha Moore, and James Madison. Nothing is known of Betsy, Martha, and James beyond their names.

I disconnected Pushmataha, Principal Chief of the Choctaw Nation from mythical parents.

FYI I had “inherited” this tree from a curator who died a couple of years ago, and do not know it well.

Always good to tag the profile in question & never hurts to tag me to come pay attention to an error.

I am interested in this tree as it may connect to many of my Choctaw cousins and relations.

I have many Moore's in the tree along with Andersons that are Choctaw and have not been sorted. I suspect my Anderson's may bee related to

Shephronia Running Deer “Julia Ann” Anderson

of course, I have not proof at all, so only a hunch.

I have added numerous historical sources and made some changes to this profile and this tree. As I note in the About section, much of what has been written is grounded in fanciful thinking and speculation rather than in fact-based documentation. If you see anything in this tree or related trees that is not fact-based, please let me or another curator know so we can correct it.
