This can’t be right. Achard b. 892 is born before his father b. 896. This is way back there so information is sketchy I know.

And the note on Renaud, seigneur de la Ferté doesn't ispire confidence:
"He was one of the Norse invaders of Burgundy in the early 10th century who remained in the area. He has been sometimes identified with Rénaud, Count of Roucy and sometimes as his father. However, the connection between Rénaud de Roucy and the Norse raider of the same name has not been proved."
