For those interested in the father's line of Lord Burghley and related father's lines and their connection to the human Y-DNA tree, check in at https://sites.google.com/view/lord-burghley-families/home
FGC3946 is the portion of the human Y-tree that includes Y21409---the branch that includes the Burghley line and several lines traced to Wales and England. Another branch just under Y21409 is a branch Y139319 now known to include several known branches all with Norwegian roots (including mine). Those lines trace their family history back to Norway in the 1500's and so the common ancestor in Y21409 with the Burghley line happened in the centuries before that. On GENI, there is a Y21409 Project Page https://www.geni.com/projects/R-Y21409-Y-DNA/48031 .

This is an appropriate place for discussions related to the many father's line descendancies from Y21409 including the Cecil, Cissell, Gilbert, Harris, Howells, Vinson, Word, Webb, Schipper, Nedrebo, Twete, Hyatt and Parry lines.

For those of you with GENI Profile ownership of known father's lines under Y21409, I encourage you to link any Y-DNA results at FamilyTreeDNA to your profile. For example, my profile shows Y-DNA of Y139319: Myles Anthony Twete
