Looking on various my.heritage trees

James Arthur WOODWARD born 9/7/1881 should be James Arthur CROSS. Various trees have his mother as Sarah WOODWARD and others as Sarah COLLESS. Death date varies to either 15/7/1941 QLD or 15/8/1960 NSW

Ethel Maud WOODWARD born 1/10/1879 should be Ethel Maud CROSS. Various trees have his mother as Sarah WOODWARD and others as Sarah COLLESS. Death date is 31/10/1961 - Ethel Maud and Alice Maud contain the same information.

There is a photo of the gravestone

William CROSS died 4 September 1937 aged 88 years
Sarah CROSS died 10/4/1930 aged 80 years
erected by Ethel

From that Sarah Elizabeth COLLESS (1850-1930) married William CROSS (1849-1937)

William Cross (1839-1901) and Sara Woodward (1843-1927) had 14 children (same as above list).

The gravestone gives Williams birth year as 1941 based on his age at death -- 60 years.

Same gravestone includes Sara and their son William Cross (1870-1888)

I think we have the husbands connected to the right wives now.
Could you please check the children of Sarah Woodward as she currently only has 8 so some might be incorrectly on Sarah Colless

This might take a while because I want to double check details of the missing children.

Alice Maud Schuman

Alice Maud Schuman (Cross) needs to be moved from Cross/Colless to William Cross (1839-1901)
Alice Maude Cross (1879-1952) married Frederick Schuman in 1908 at Casino, NSW.

Also can her husband Frederick Schuman be made public.

The Cross/Colless tree is missing Ethel Maud Cross. She was born Dubbo in 1879 BDM 12843/1879.

My guess is that Alice Maud was mistakenly added for Ethel Maud since they both were born in 1879.

I am, unfortunately, not allowed to change her husband to public (nor add his full name) as he was most likely born less than 150 years ago. I will tag him as hopefully the profile managers will amend his profile Private

I didn't know about the 150 year rule. Frederick Schuman dates are 1883-1966.

This makes 15 children for Cross/Woodward. I believe there should only be 14 and the Male infant is possibly Walter Cross who died at 9 months approx. I'm still looking for documentation of an unnamed infant. The geni profile doesn't have a date.

I have, I think, put the correct children to the correct parents - added curator notes and I have relationship locked the two William Cross’s and their wives Sarah Colless and Sarah Woodward

The only unknown is the male child - both families had a male child who died in infancy

Both families seem to have the right children -- except for the addition of the male infant to Cross/Woodward. I'll keep looking for some documentation.

Everything now looks correct.
