Henry King - guardians of King orphans

Court records names gaurdians for all the King orphans, and it was not their mom.

What info do you have on this? I'm a descendant and believe it was the guardian who helped my ancestors get land grants in present-day Sampson County, where i grew up. I'm interested in how this came about.

Their mother remarried and left them to others to raise. My line from Henry is Michael who married a Ferguson/Bell, then Michael who married a Snell then a Boone. My family also moved to Sampson/duplin area.
