There is no way of knowing which pioneer family in this district has grown to have the greatest number of descendatns but rurely the Blanch family must have a very strong claim. When Mrs Hannah BLANCH died on July 8, 1879 she left a husband, six sons, 11 daughters and 84 grandchildren. This information comes from Mr William Goold's selection of grave stone records in the historic Christ Church cemetery
