William Perry Crockett is my Third Great Grand Father. But as far as I know personally there is no DNA or Paper Trial Proof... that William Perry Crockett is the son of John Crockett and "NOT Rebecca Crockett" Please anybody inform me if I am wrong... Is there and DNA Proof or otherwise that William "Perry" Crockett is the son of John Crockett.

I wrote this because I was so surprised that it showed up on "Family Search" just the same as every where else... According to DNA we the descendants of William Perry Crockett are not related to the John Crockett line... The crazy thing about this is: William Crockett (Davy's Uncle) was born in the same place and at the same time... that William Perry Crockett was... it's crazy.
