Find-a-Grave lists the mother of Bouin de Gorze as Ingeltude d'Autun (773-810), who it says married Richard d'Amiens in 806. Her dates of birth and death, as well as this marriage date, are a much better fit for Bouin's supposed birth year of c. 810. Ingeltude (they may have meant Ingeltrude) could have died in childbirth or shortly thereafter. As this nameless woman supposedly died in 805, she would have been dead for 5 years at the approximate date of Bouin's birth. I know that records are sparse back this far, but basic math and logic can also help unravel the mysteries.
