James Lewis 1823-1893 and Caroline Matilda Lewis 1838-1920 have 2 children with the same name alive at the same time which seems unlikely

Lachlander and Condobolin and Western District Recorder - Thu 25/3/1943 Page 4
MR. ALBERT LEWIS.
The above well-known old identity passed away in the district hospital last Wednesday, 17th March. Ab., as he was commonly known, was a man of sterling character, honest, straightforward and fearless when called to make decisions in the path of right.
Indeed, he was fearless to the 100 per cent., and though not by any means quarrelsome, if it came to bat tle with the bare knuckles few, if any, could overcome him. Born at Gunning 79 years ago (in fact, close on 80), he had spent 60 years in Condobolin. He was married in 1888, at Wardry, to Fanny Cobden, daughter of the late Richard Cobden. His wife died some 13 years ago. Surviving family are Mrs. Jack Kendall (Condobolin), James (Condobolin), Jack (Sydney), Mrs. P. Seckold (Parkes), Fred (Cobar), Arthur (Condobolin), Frank (Army), George (Condobolin), Mrs. Pat Jones (Barmedman). Deceased members were Charles, Mrs. Eva Fisk, Richard and Rachel. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren are living. The body was brought to the home of Mr. George Lewis and thence to All Saints' Church, from which location the funeral cortege started. The burial took place in the Church of England portion of the cemetery, the Rev. H. C. Barratt officiating and Mr. Robert Marlin in charge of the funeral arrangements.
I think there might be two families merged here.
James Lewis who died at Parkes in 1893 was married to Clara Hoath, 1877 at Walgett NSW BDM 6183/1887
