Franz Kruger (Jacob) - Sources

I see there are conflicting claims. Many MyHeritage trees and some other articles about the stamvader indicate Franz's birthplace as Oberkaufungen in Central Germany. Is the Sadenbeck birth also an assumption?

Franco My Heritage are not at all a source. For SA Pama are the most reliable apart from eGGSA Stamouers Project, where research has been done before putting it there and then there are the very good research work of Barry Kruger, also available from eGGSA or GGSA.

The most real would be if you could obtain death notices, birth registers or marriage register from abroad. I will look what sources are shown on Geni, but there should be mention of Barry Kruger's research as well.

Therefore, unless other sources of records can be obtained, it must be the most reliable.
