In the summary it shows his wife as Margaret Stewart. But in the overview it shows his mother as Margaret Stuart (Stewart) (which conflicts with the summary of his father and wife Isabel Innes) and it shows James' wife as Margaret Ogilvy/Ogilvie. Any idea which one is correct, Margaret Stewart or Margaret Ogilvy?

Hi Sue. It appears the overview refers to his son James Gordon 2nd of Lesmoir who married Margaret Ogilvy. The correct Peerage reference for James Gordon 1st of Lesmoir is http://www.thepeerage.com/p41320.htm#i413196

So there should be another generation listed between George Gordon, 3rd Laird of Lesmoir and James Gordon of Lesmoir. Namely, James Gordon, 2nd Laird of Lesmoir and Margaret Ogilvy - George Gordon's parents.

Sorry I have just come back from holidays. On closer inspection there appears to be quite a few inconsistencies with these entries. I'm going to investigate!
