Peter Sullivan was a Revolutionary Soldier in the Continental Army, and served part of his time at Valley Forge with George Washington. He was then sent to Fort Arnold, which was named after its commanding officer, Benedict Arnold. While there, Benedict Arnold betrayed the Americans and switched sides to the British. The fort was then renamed Fort Clinton, after General James Clinton of the Continental Army. Now it is West Point.
