He did come over on one of the many voyages of the m the Mayflower.

Myra Gayle Reynolds, there is no evidence that the Mayflower ship that carried the Pilgrims to Massachusetts in 1620 ever made other trips after returning to England. There were many ships named the Mayflower, so if he did come to New England, he would have had to travelled on a different Mayflower ship.
