Query on John William PHILPOTT wives

Having trawled through all the handwritten birth records for England & Wales for all of 1849 on Ancestry, I have only found two possible records for all the variations of "Catherine" and "Wolf". I then looked on the GRO database and found:

Do you know where the precise dates of birth came from?

It would seem that the Catharine Wolfe who born in Bolton was the daughter of William Wolfe and Isabella (or Isabel) Ferrin who were married on 22 Aug 1841 in Farnworth With Kearsley, Lancashire, England. Catharine married John Hopkins on 11 Nov 1880 at St. Michael's, Stockport, Cheshire, England. It seems unlikely that she is relevant to your enquiry

The birth records of all the children of John William Philpott (except the oldest) have been located in the GRO database and are shown on their profiles. All show that the Mother's maiden name was Bender (or Binder or Bentley).
I have therefore removed the couple "JW Philpott with Catherine Woolf" as the parents of all the children

Furthermore:
1. the Sources supporting both Catherine Woolf and Catherine Davis (Woolf) are identical - thus very strongly suggesting that they are one and the same person.

2. there is no supporting evidence to show that Catherine Woolf married John William Philpott

3. the family tree of Michael Sone on Ancestry at https://www.ancestry.co.uk/family-tree/person/tree/4884776/person/-... which includes John William Philpott shows that he had only one wife, Catherine Bender, and they had ten children - of whom, per the 1911 census, nine were then still alive

I conclude that the Master Profile for Catherine Woolf (born 9 April 1849) should be deleted
