Jacques is in fact the son of:
John VIII count of Vendôme
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_VIII,_Count_of_Vendôme

And not of John II of Bourbon
Jean II de Bourbon, comte de Vendôme

The 2 John seems to have the same profile.

Hello Samuel~ Nice to meet you cousin. Thank you for pointing that out. I will try and make the correction, if it’s not made already. I am not altogether too familiar with Geni as of yet. It looks like we have quite a direct relationship line through the Chouinard family, then your paternal line. I look forward to looking at it a bit more. So interesting.
