What about the Find A Grave headstone?
https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/61977976/lavinia-winters

FindAGrave has a picture of a shared headstone with a date of birth Feb 9, 1767 and death Feb 2, 1856 for William, son of M. & E.. Winters. This is different as most profiles use 1759-1847.

The headstone shows his wife "La ????" was born Nov 11, 1770. Different as most use May 30, 1760. The initials for her parents are different from what is usually given. The headstone reads DAU. of J. & R. Stevens, rather than Peter & Anna.

According to Virginia, U.S., Select Marriages, 1785-1940 William married on Jan 20, 1787, Montgomery County, Virgina, to Lavinia Stephens. Their first child was born 1790. If we use the profile dates, William and Lavina were a little old when they married and when they had their first child. If we use the headstone dates, they would be a more likely age.

HOWEVER, if we use the headstone, her parents are not Peter and Anna.

Is this someone else's headstone, or is the profile wrong?

I've done some more research, and am convinced Peter Stevens and Anna Maria Chrisman are not her parents.
GENI states her father, Peter Stevens, died 1812.
Peter Stephens, husband of Anna Maria Chrisman, died 1757, not 1812, and thus can't be her father.

Peter Stephens died in Stephensburgh (now Stephens City), Va, in Nov 1757.

Stephens City was chartered in 1758 as the town of “Stephensburgh,” but its origins reach back into the early 1730s when Peter Stephens (1687-1757), an immigrant originally from Heidelberg, Germany, built his homestead on land that would eventually become part of the far southern end of the original town.

Peter Stephens (March 3, 1687 – December 6, 1757) was the son of Gabriel Steffen and of Barbara (née Bar). Stephens is known for founding present-day Stephens City, Virginia.

Where did the 1812 date of death come from?
It is found on Findagrave and repeated on https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/GMGC-RB2
There is a headstone for a Peter Stephens on FamilySearch where the date of death can be read either 1812 or 1819. The inscription states that Peter Stephens was aged 60 yr 8 mo.   Date of birth if he died in 1819, would be  1759, That man could not be father of Lavina..

Peter Stephens, husband of Anna Maria Chrisman, died 1757, They are not the parents of Lavina Stephens born 1760. They should be disconnected.

Dale: I've disconnected Lavina so you can add her correct parents.
She might have some other siblings which ought to be moved to those new parents, away from Sergeant Peter Stephens, Jr. and Anna Maria ‘Mary’ Stephens.

... and now I caught up with the other discussions ... and re-connected her back.
