Joanna de Dinham - Hertland or Hartland for Birthplace?

Via search engine, I see a spelling of Hartand but not Hertland. I don't know if there are two accepted spellings for the same town, or if "Hertland" is a non-existent place today.

I think Hertland is an obsolete spelling for Hartland in Devon.

The English branch of the Dinhams (or Dynhams), long time owners of Hemyock Manor and Castle. Their main English base was at Hartland, Devon.
