I can find no primary sources or solid secondary sources stating who the parents of Ousamequin (Massasoit), sachem of the Pokanoket were.

We are currently showing these people as his parents:

We are showing these people as his paternal grandparents:

All four appear to only exist in uncited on-line trees. They do not exist in the tribal records made public by various Wampanoag tribes or in the records of the Yale Indian Papers Project's New England collection. I can't find any of them mentioned in biographies of Ousamequin/Massasoit, either.

Can anyone provide good sources for these folks? Otherwise, we can disconnect.

Nope, no primary sources or good secondary sources. It's just another tree repeating other trees, unfortunately.

“ History did not record the name of Massasoits father, only, the "father of Massasoit."

Here we go - Wasanegin was one of Massasoit’s names / titles. I think we can collapse the 3 generations into one, that will be fairest to the profile managers.
