What I am seeking to confirm is that the Augustine who married Phoebe Crews ONLY married Phoebe Crew and the Augustine who married Ann Seward and Ann Newsom did NOT marry Phoebe Crews.
I am looking to confirm the correct parents for EACH of these Augustine Hunnicutt. There are MANY and it is indeed a family name which complicates matters.
I have found a will for Augustine which was witnessed by a Seward but the name of the wife is NOT written... SO I am unable to discern whether it is the husband of Phebe or not.
Interestingly enough, one of these Rootsweb links literally shows Phoebe Crews as the mother of the Augustine who married the two Anns so, yes, very disheartening to even see that! FS and Wikitree have the same problems and even one line that WAS PPP was removed from the protection of the project (2016?) and there is little to go on from many of the individual profiles.
