James is the Youngest son of John Osborne b. 1631 and Mariam Rebecca Hand. He did marry a Sarah ____. And maybe an Ann Carter. I believe he might have been a whaler/ Captain of the ship. He was from Wainscott, NY.

I need to double check the dates. But this is the closest I have been to James Osborne.
John Osborne and Mariam Rebecca Hand also had sons by the name of Ephraim Osborne and Caleb Osborne. Some of your family members "Think" that Ephraim 1723 and Caleb 1725 came from them. The tree shows that it can't be from the first Ephraim. And others believe they came from James Osborne the son of John and Mariam.

The last sign of James was in Elizabethtown, New Jersey. There are 3 Osborne families in Elizabethtown.
