I’m not sure she’s connected to the correct husbands.

Currently Geni shows:

Maude (Matilda) Greene (1425-1496), daughter of Sir John Throckmorton, MP, of Fladbury & Eleanor de la Spine, heiress of Coughton

(This seems well documented)

Matilda (Maud) Throckmorton married Sir Thomas Eden on 7 December 1434 at Fawsley, Northamptonshire, England.6
Matilda (Maud) Throckmorton married Richard Middleton, son of Sir William Middleton and Margaret Hamerton, after 23 September 1437.3,4
Matilda (Maud) Throckmorton married Sir Thomas Greene, son of Sir Thomas Greene, Sheriff of Northamptonshire and Philippa Ferrers, circa 1455.2

But the dates for Richard ‘of Spofforth’ Middleton don’t quite agree, and it certainly seems that Sir Thomas Greene, VI, Lord of Greens Norton Was her last husband.

Calls her Middleton husband “of Great Lyneford & London”, which doesn’t fit with Richard ‘of Spofforth’ Middleton. Yet he has the parents Richardson specified (I think).

According to Genealogics, she m. 2) Richard Middleton of Great Linford, Bucks, MP, and Anne Grey, of Greens Norton was a Green, not a Middleton.

I’ve disconnected Richard ‘of Spofforth’ Middleton as husband & also the speculative son John Greene, Esq.

I have Richard Middleton of Great Linford in my database with a death date of 14 November 1489. He married by 1464, Maud Throckmorton (died by 1499), daughter of Sir John Throckmorton of Coughton (c.1382-1445) & Eleanor Spine, and widow of Sir Thomas Greene of Greens Norton (c.1427-1462).

Richard Middleton was a younger son of Sir John Middleton of Belsay Castle, Northumberland (c.1373-1441) and his wife, Joan Skelton (d. 1450). There is a bio for this Richard Middleton of Great Linford in Wedgwood's HOP

I’m still unclear about parents of Anne Grey, of Greens Norton - most have her as a Middleton.
