Adela of Nordgau wife of Régnier (Reginar) III, comte de Hainaut ..
is she the same Adela of Nordgau daughter Hugo V, count in Nordgau ?

or Adela of Nordgau is just a profile certainly wife of Régnier (Reginar) III, comte de Hainaut & only '''['''hypothetically''']''' daughter of Hugo V, count in Nordgau ?

I invite you all to this discussion as a last detail after cleaning up this:

(by PROs mergers yes yes kmon komn forward forward merge merge in 1000 zone :)
[wiki and MedLands now placed & TEXT-TAGGHED in the profiles concerned:]

1. REGINAR [III] ([920]-973). .. ... .....

m''' ADELA''', daughter of --- (-961). The Annales Hanoniæ record the death in 961 of "Adela comitissa Montensis…uxor Ragineri comitis"[39], although as this passage follows closely on those dealing with the exploits of "Raginerus Longi-colli" it is unclear to which Count Reginar the Annales are referring at this point.
She is named in secondary sources as [Adela of Nordgau '''Adela von Dachsburg'''], daughter of [Hugo V, count in Nordgau Hugo] [V] Graf von Dachsburg und Egisheim [Alsace] & his wife [Hildegard of Ferrette Hildegard] ---, but the primary source which confirms that this is correct has not yet been identified.

Have fun :*

PS.
I would also give it a check to Hildegard of Ferrette
than with her PRO adhesive does not appear to be a documented daughter of
Matfrède III, comte de Metz

On the profile is mentioned:
"Weis and van de Pas list her as Adele/Adela (d 961), the daughter of Lambet, Count of Louvain."

Now this is clearly false, she was the mother of Lambert, the first count of Leuven, not the daughter

We have no sources that deny that the mother of count Lambert I was a von Dagsburg, but that is all there is.

false? naa only PRO..
(ehehhe look at the case: a namesake granddaughter, daughter of a Lambert ;)

* Adela of Nordgau <--
** Lambert I, count of Louvain
*** Lambert II 'the Belted', Count of Leuven and Brussels
**** Adela van Leuven <--

Well, the granddaughter is not the same as the mother, isn’t she?

Adela of Nordgau
(Adela I van Henegouwen, countess of Louvain) from 2018

in 2017 it was entered as
Adele comtesse d'Equisheim

then changed again..

COA come from 2018 merge

Erica Howton the knot cleaned yesterday, has a lot of other old surprises :D

Adela I van Henegouwen, countess of Louvain is my 25th great grandmother.
Adelaide von Dagsbourg is my 26th great aunt.
Matfrède III, comte de Metz is my 27th great grandfather.
Mathilde d'Arleux d'Equisheim is my 25th great grandfather's wife.
Lambert I, count of Louvain is my 24th great grandfather.
Régnier (Reginar) III, comte de Hainaut is my 25th great grandfather.

I believe I have notified enough hundreds of ADMiN, followers and (C)s..

1) Now I clean surname & COA of Adela of Nordgau
[surely it derives from having confused she with her great-granddaughter.. (read above)]

2) unsourced DIY Mathilde d'Arleux d'Equisheim and his female knot offspring are in relationship locked .. (I would have had the decency of the benefit of the doubt at least by setting it ex-partner.. but his husband is a "MP" locked:)

3) Hildegard of Ferrette (the one with the PRO adhesive) it is definitely in the wrong place..

Good 25th 26th 27th imperial Brussels great grandfather to all :*

Let's do it. You're right. Lot of profils so old are not based on strong sources.
Things has to be cleaned up!

The Annales Hanoniæ record the death in 961 of "Adela comitissa Montensis…uxor Ragineri comitis.
Montensis, Montes, Mont, Mons,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mons

Did she died in Mons?
