Research notes:

With a first marriage on 29 Nov 1383, her birth was prior to 29 Nov 1371, which accords with the date of 1362 in Watney. Watney places Maud as the daughter of Giles, the younger, currently shown as her brother, rather than Giles, the elder, currently shown as her father.

Tagging Sir Giles Daubeney, Knt., of Barrington & Alianore ‘Eleanor’ Daubeney

Sir Giles Daubeney (circa 1335 - June 24, 1386) was the Sheriff of Bedfordshire, the Sheriff of Buckinghamshire, and a son of Sir Ralph Daubeney and Alice Montacute. [citation needed]

Sir Giles and Alianore Wilington Daubeney had six children: three sons (Sir Giles, Thomas, and William) and three daughters (Joan, Maud, and Katherine).[3]

Looks like Maude is placed as daughter of the 2nd Giles Daubeney who died August 22, 1403 and his wife Margaret Beauchamp.

It does seem odd for the chronology, But here Matilda (Maude) is in the 5 March 1400 will of Giles Daubeney, Knt:

BTW my grandmother was a Hill. So I’m used to this, :)

So - either there were two different Matilda / Maude’s, daughters of Giles, marrying two different John Hill’s, or there was a drunken herald repeating himself in his pedigree drawing.

I’m moving the Latimer widow to daughter of 1st Giles. Anything in this area with Charlene’s notes are likely “best we know.”

Richard Champernon married, 2ndly to Katherine, apparently the daughter of that Sir Giles Daubeny, who was the 3rd Baron Daubeny, of Kilmersdon, Somersetshire, who died 24 June 1386, and his wife Eleanor Wyllington, herself a Champernoun descendant, though a daughter is named among their children in Lord Hylton's Notes on the History of the Parish of Kilmersdon [Taunton, 1910].

As a side comment.
