Elizabeth Brooks (Warren) - Parents

When tracing a pathway to someone down this line, it shows Elizabeth (Warren) Brooks as the adopted daughter of James C. Warren, Sr.

his brother → Elizabeth Brooks (Warren)
his adopted daughter

And yet when I open Elizabeth's profile to see who her biological parents are, it shows the Warrens as her biological parents and I don't see anything in her profile notes indicating she was adopted. So, are the Warrens her biological or adoptive parents? Asking because it makes a difference whether I stop here on this pathway, beacuse if she's not a biological Warren I'm not related to her.
