Private User says of Cunigunda, countess of Trèves & Ardennes
Cunigunda of Sulichgau (893-924) was the daughter of Ermentrude of France, daughter in turn of Louis the Stammerer. Her father was Eberhard of Sulichgau, son of Unruoch III. In 898 her uncle Charles III gained control as king of the Franks, changing Cunigunda's life for the better.
Father is not unknown

CUNIGONDE ([895]-after [930/40]). Her parentage and first marriage are indicated by the charter dated to [915] under which Charles III “le Simple” King of the West Franks donated the abbeys of Hastières and Saint-Rombaut to Liège Saint-Lambert, granting the enjoyment for life to "comes Windricus...uxoris eius...Cunegundis et unius filiorum ipsorum...nostri nepotis Adelberonis"https://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/CAROLINGIANS.htm#CunegundisM1Wigeric

There are some problems here - possibly caused by the updated scholarship not tying up all the loose ends yet:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cunigunda_of_France cites Eberhard of Sulichgau, son of Unruoch III as her father - but provides no validating primary sources.

Medlands uses sources to indicate "Adelberonis" - which is far closer to the name of Eberhard's brother:Adélard (d. 874)

Nobody so far, that I can find - has found evidence of an actual partnership between Ermentrude and Eberhard or Adelard for that matter.

The problem with Eberhard I, Graf im Zürichgau is that he was married to Gisela

But as a Gisela married Eberhard of Friuli c805-866, I'm wondering if there isn't a mismerge on the Eberhards

Parisse, ‘Généalogie de la Maison d'Ardenne’, La maison d'Ardenne Xe-XIe siècles. Actes des Journées Lotharingiennes, 24 - 26 oct. 1980, Centre Univ., Luxembourg, (1981) 9-41
Its difficult to see but most 99% he is her father
It takes a specialist on this as geni is made of us all its not likely that we are all right always but me personally are going on these and other reaserch

Have a lovely day

Private User can you see what primary sources they are citing there for her father as Eberhard of Sulichgau,

Actually - Medlands' source doesn't seem to me to name a father at all?

comes Windricus ...uxoris eius ...Cunegundis et unius filiorum ipsorum
...nostri nepotis Adelberonis"[323].

Count Windric ... of his wife ... Cunegund and one of their children... of our nephew Adelberon"[323].

Anne, unless you can find the primary source for Eberhard of Sulichgauas her father on that site , I'm going to wait before adding him.
