1736 death date for this Sarah Adams is incorrect. Sarah Adams Earl and husband Nathaniel Earl were in Beekman Patent, NY by 1740. "On 16 Jan 1746/7, John Earl and his wife Rachel (Adams) and brother Nathaniel and his wife Sarah, all of Beekmansberg, acknowledged that they had received their full share in the estate of Richard Adams, deceased." TAG 25:247; also Settlers of Beekman Patent by Frank Doherty p. 623.

It looks like Capt. Samuel Adams Is missing his 1st wife. From the profile for Samuel Adams, II

When Lt. Samuel Adams Jr. was born on 13 June 1731, in Canterbury, Windham, Connecticut Colony, British Colonial America, his father, Capt. Samuel Adams, was 20 and his mother, Sarah Felt, was 21.

However, Sarah Felt (unless there were two) was the wife of a later Samuel Adams of Braintree.

So at this point, I think we need to call Sarah Adams the 1st wife of Capt. Samuel Adams

“Sarah unknown.”
