I cannot write to you privately because you’ve blocked me. I apologize in advance for the public nature of this note.
You wrote what’s below in the Master profile for James Reed, Sr. I’ve removed it and now am forced to lock the “about” to further changes, as profiles are for genealogy, not for complaints. And, in fact, it can be considered vandalism. And, in fact, it is a violation of the Geni Code of Conflict you agree to every time you work on geni.

This is what you wrote. I’ll answer specifically in the next post.

I think perhaps you don’t understand the nature of Genii’s World Family Tree. Here’s are links, as a reminder:
https://www.geni.com/worldfamilytree
https://www.geni.com/worldfamilytree/learn-more
The World Family Tree on Geni is the definitive family tree for the entire world. It respects the privacy of living people while allowing millions of users to collaborate on their shared ancestry by constantly expanding and improving the tree. The World Family Tree currently has more than 180 million profiles and is growing rapidly.
So how does that affect “your” tree? It means there’s only one tree. There’s no Scott Holland tree (except your near family of course). So, all these profiles you keep entering have, for the most part, been entered into geni already. So ironically, it’s kind of the other way around. Your work is kicking off additional work from existing profile managers to merge. And that’s where I come in as a geni curator.
(Post is continued next)
I’m one of the many geni volunteer curators and have been so since 2010. Curators are empowered to combine (merge) and make master profiles, and optionally lock fields we believe complete.
For more about curators:

I’ve been getting requests to merge your duplicates. That’s it. I’m not following you. There was a request today to merge James Reed, Sr. His family tree was a mess. I fixed it: you are welcome.
Are you upset that I could not determine origins for him? There’s an easy solution for that. Document it. If curators / fellow managers agree, or it’s an obvious error, everything on geni can be changed. We lock when we think it shouldn’t be changed.
If working where other people work, and using courteous rules, is not for you, then geni is not for you. But I think you’ll find that collaborative efforts result in better genealogy.
Hope this helps. There are other curators and geni customer support if you’d like a more private discussion now.
