Clarification: Dea. Ephraim Ward didn’t marry himself. He had 2 wives with similar names, but all but one of his children were with his 2nd wife, Mary (Haven) (Stone) Ward

Unfortunately, we have a Y DNA problem. The profile for John Ward, of Newton shows a propagated haplogroup of E M35. But he’s a descendant of William Ward, of Sudbury & Marlborough which is R-M269.

The Y 37 test, E-M35 was linked on geni by Private and the kit was added by Private User who is inactive. So, I’ll try and find a cut point. On his ancestor report, there are several generations with no details between Aaron Ward and Joseph Ward
