According to Divrei HaRav Divrei HaTalmid, about Yehuda Leib haCohen Katz Rubin:
“השולשלת מופיעה בתוך מגילת יוחסין שנכתבה ע"י ר' שלום חיים אויערבאך נ"י בשנת תשמ"ז, ובה נכתב שלהג"ר יהודא לייב הכהן רובין הי' חתן הג"ר יצחק אשכנזי זצ"ל מזאלקווא, בהגה"צ ר' אפרים אשכנזי מבראדי, בהג"ר צבי אשכנזי זצוק"ל – החכם צבי אב"ד אמסטערדאם, [ר' אפרים אשכנזי הנ"ל מחותנו של הג"ר יהודה לייב הכהן רובין נפ' ג' ניסן תקל"ב, וא"כ מחותנו כנראה גם נפטר בסביבות השנים הללו, ולפי"ז בסדר השנים מכוון שהג"ר יהודה לייב היה אביו של ר' צבי הכהן רובין].”
Apparently his father in law was the grandson of Chacham Tzvi Hirsch Ashkenazi. It claims that the latter had a son efraim, which he did, R' Ephraim Ashkenazi of Lwow (s#6), but claims that he was from Brody. This might be a conflation with him and Ephraim Fischel Kitover, [of Brody] who was not the son of Chacham Tzvi Hirsch Ashkenazi. Is it?
Furthermore, the above book claims that Yehuda Leib’s father in law was called Yitzchak Ashkenazi of Zhovkva. I did not see on Geni that R' Ephraim Ashkenazi of Lwow (s#6) had a son Yitzchak; was he left out on geni accidentally, or did R' Ephraim Ashkenazi of Lwow (s#6) not have a son Yitzchak?
I should point out that there is a Reb Yitzchak, [of Zolkiev], and again, there might be a conflation of the two.
The text from Divrei HaRav Divrei HaTalmid also mentions a “מגילת יוחסין שנכתבה ע"י ר' שלום חיים אויערבאך נ"י בשנת תשמ"ז” does anyone know where this can be found?
Does anyone have any information about this at all?
