In sources I have found regarding Andrew Hamilton, Colonial Governor of New Jersey, Ann Horn is not listed as a child of his. Does anyone have one?

Of note, her profile says she is part of the fraudulent Horn papers, so that raises questions about the accuracy of her tree overall. Citation would help us firm up the shape of things.

Worth noting that quite a few SmartMatches have Ann being born in England in 1662, which would make Andrew as her father seem quite unlikely, but I haven't found any tree there yet with citation.

Greetings Ashley,

I was alerted via E-mail that you started this discussion. I haven't looked at this end mych yet but tgst would explain some of the crappy Genealogy down my lines.

Notes:

Two John's or one
...? Patterson line to "Grandfather Patterson". Appears false line. Family Genealogy books say two different John's. Separating until futher evidence. Work-in-progress on Patterson line through Pickens daughter, married to George Patterson. I just started on two different Patterson lines and working out the Pickens issue. According to what I see on my end the Hirn and Hamilton lines end up as Grandparents lines and Ann would be a sibling but none of it seems plausible. Here are some notes as I haven't gotten down this far. Connection to Ann " as is" on Geni. A lot of these profiles leading up to Ann are MP due to Henderson and Finley clean-up.

Sounds like quite the pickle, Annber! I'll take a peek when I'm not sitting in my doctor's waiting room. :)

For now, I've cut Andrew as Ann's father. Every source on Andrew that I can find only lists John as a child, so we can re-attach her if/when we find one that says otherwise.

I agree! The Skinner line and Montgomery line has been a mess for me too. I'm listing William Horn who created the Fraud and my relationship to him so I can work on that side of it as well as the other relationship paths in question.
