Moses A Levine - Identity and Children

Geni shows Moses as:
Birth: 1842
Death: 1941 (98-99)
Immediate Family:
Father of Isaac Levine; Abraham Levine; Joseph Levine and Bessie (Levine) Reed

Of those folks,
Abraham and Isaac were added by Edward = Private User in 2007
their brother Joseph and Father Moses were added by Marty = Private User in 2008
Bessie who married William Reed was added by Edward in 2018.

Then yesterday Dmitri = Dimitri Vulis merged Abraham with Abraham son of Son of Harris L Levine and Tresa Levine (Barton)

I can find records for an Abraham Levine son of Harris Louis and Teresa (Barton) Levine who married Millie and etc.
And I can find records for a brother Isaac of that Abraham who married a Fannie Finkelstein
And they had a brother Joseph and a sister Bessie (that Bessie was married to Jacob Stein at the time of her death in 1959 and was Bessie Stein on her sister Rachel's 1947 Death Notice)
So did folks just give these folks the wrong father or ??

I so far have found no records that their sister Bessie married a William Reed, nor have I found any records for a Bessie who married William Reed, nor any idea who this Moses A Levine might be.

Anybody have any insights?

Should just be ONE "son of" there! He is their son, not their grandson

Also -- Tresa = Teresa - Tobie = Tibie etc.

Private User - you added the version of Abraham Levine that was the son of Harris L and Tresa, that was merged in here. Do you have any comments?

I have added the rest of Harris Louis and Teresa Levine's children -- on the 1900 Census she is listed as having born 9, 8 still alive - those now are all there.

I suspect the "Tresa" spelling may have originated from this marriage record: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FCC7-6QY

That is a very misleading version -- this version has her as "Theresa Barton" and has Fannie's Maiden Name

It is Trese Levine on her Gravestone in English -- [Tobe] or [Toba] in Hebrew.
It is Mrs. Tobie Levine on her Death Notices / Obits.
And it is Theresa Levine on her Pennsylvania Certificate of Death.
