Charles married Miriam Ring in South Africa, who became Miriam Jacobson. They had 2 children: Harry and Dora. Harry is my grandfather and I knew him from my childhood. However, Dora was killed in an accidental fire when she was around 4 years old--I found the reports that confirmed her accidental death in Canada. Even though I wasn't there, it can be safely assumed that Charles and Miriam were fighting and blaming each other for Dora's death. Charles abandoned Harry when he was around 13 years old. I can personally confirm that my grandfather worked many jobs from his early teen years until his 60's... Charles married Elsie Wilkinson. Their relationship didn't last because Elsie ended up marrying George Fleming. We don't know when the married ended exactly? We also don't know how and when Charles died. Unfortunately, there are thousands of people named Charles Jacobson... The mystery still remains regarding the 2 aforementioned factors.
