I have the Spencer line cleaned up, by getting rid of extraneous people, both children and parents, but there are clear reasons as to why this line gets messed up — conflicting information in profile overviews and curtators’ notes, because there is evidence that the Visitations are wrong and there was a false pedigree. And besides that there is the problem of there being several Henrys and Williams and Johns in the line, several of them married to various Isabels.
So locking the profiles (which doesn’t seem to work anyway) doesn’t solve things, because users and curators both keep changing the line to fit the authority they are looking at.
The line needs to get checked and redone and given clear notes and locked.
