There are no sources but on line trees to support Elizabeth Potter as the same person as Elizabeth Marshall daughter of Thomas Marshall, of Abbots Ann and Mary Marshall born about 1574 at Abbots Ann, a village in Hampshire County, England. Nothing further is known about that Elizabeth Marshall.
They've been detached as her parents.
The Elizabeth Marshall who married Robert Potter, of Newport Pagnell were the parents of Nicholas Potter, of Lynn "The Great Migration Directory" by R. C. Anderson indicates he migrated in 1638.
The family in Abbots Ann included Thomas Marshall, of Westmoreland County who (supposedly) died in the Virginia Colony. More to the point, perhaps, the Abbots Ann family was significant enough to have been reported in the "Visitation of Hampshire" (Digital image). This is not consistent with emigrants to Massachusetts.
https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/124242101/mary_marshall links a Newport Pagnell family for Elizabeth Potter:
John Marshall and Mary William were married on October 21, 1560 in Newport Pagnell, Buck. (record cited for the marriage)
Their known children born in Newport Pagnell:
- John Marshall born about 1565.
- Robert Marshall born about 1566.
- Elizabeth Marshall born about 1572.
But there is not (yet?) evidence seen to validate them as the parents of Robert Potter's wife.

Comments invited, with primary sources or published article citations. I'm sure there were many "Elizabeth Marshalls" in the general geographic area in this time period. Nicholas Potter has been studied.
