Help needed: Thomas Brandon, free Black patriot

Hi, everyone,

I am working with someone at the Geni booth at RootsTech and I have a fun project you might be able to help with!

Thomas Brandon is a free Black patriot, already recognized by DAR, and he had a son named Peter. Peter likely had a son named Shadrach/Shadrack.

It would be greatly appreciated to build this profile and tree, since someone is looking to join DAR and is hoping to use Geni to organize the research. This is also simply a good MP for us to have since there are relatively few Black patriots and it would be so good to have another highlighted on the site.

I'll help. I can see the side of my family he connects to. I have the book he is in for citation purposes and will add that and connect his family. Ithink this is the Saponi Indians as well. Let me check my Free African lines. I think this line is like a third cousin, a few times removed through the Taylor's. Could be more errors as well. Usually that happens when I go hunting. I'll be happy to work on it though. :) I do have a book full of African patriots if we wanted to make that a project?
