If you have merges issues with Philip David Reid Castleman, please post them here.

When your issues is resolved please delete your related messages to keep this topic as short as possible.

You should as far as possible connect the pending merges yourselves and you are also responsible to clean up the final profile when completed.

Please verify that all profiles in a connected stack is matching the main profile before you post a request to merge the stack.

Remember to mark a completed merge of common ancestors as Shared if you have access to it, - both to keep it visible for none-family members, but also to tell others that you have verified the contents and would like to keep it as a main profile in this giant forest.

If you see padlocked profiles in the tree: Click on [View List] under the profile picture on a nearby profile you have access to. The managers of these will be listed there and you can take proper action to get them unlocked for you, either by becoming the manager yourselves if it is without a manager, or contacting the manager to collaborate or ask him/her to kill zombies.

Very happy to let you merge
How do I authorise it?

Hello,

I don't know who @Philip Caslteman is. I apparently have some pending merge issues, that haven't been completed for a long time. Maybe he's connected to one of them?

Mark,

You will have to post the links here when you find a merge request that contains a Philip Castleman managed profile in it. Please post the link to the first profile in the entire merge request.

Thanks,
Kevin

@Kevin: good idea to start this Castleman discussion for merging.

The following people are collaborating with Philip, I think he is just somewhat slow on getting everything done. I know that it really takes me a while to get to some requests. Maybe he is just focusing on his main tree. I know there is a lot of stuff on off branches that I can get pulled into sometimes. Hope this list helps everyone:

I Don't know Phillip David Reid Castleman.

Thanks Kevin. I can't find which one you mean regarding Nathan De Graw.

Shmuel,

For any merge request that involves only Nathan De Graw and Philip Castleman, I need you to merge a profile of your own into the De Graw before I can do the Castleman merge.

Thanks again. However, the list is endless:

This one's a challenge:
Boede/Boite is the son of Kenneth III. He's not married to Ælfflæd, and he's not the father of Sybil/Sibylla. It seems absolutely all dups have to be completely merged before it is possible to untie this dreadful knot.

Also: any idea why Castleman won't accept more collaborators? A person who has uploaded thousands and thousands of profiles into the Big Tree, with a LOT of errors as well - has he got any idea at all of the extreme amount of work and trouble he has created for others?

Shmuel,

Done except for http://www.geni.com/profile/compare/4793654215250024782 as I don't have merge rights the claimed main profile. Data conflicts left for you to clean up.

Anne Marit,

Done with data conflicts remaining for you to clean up.

thank you.. I can't remember who does Nancy

Anne,
in this case it wasn't really.
Like many other people he used that account to create a tree (couple hundred profiles). LATER I joined his Family Group and merged him into the main, with the understanding that after that, he would unclaim it. He didn't though, and Geni won't intervene. His profiles ARE all shared, and open to FG members. So it's not TOO much of a hassle (except in rare situations like this).
