Governor Robert Treat and second wife, Elizabeth Powell

I am contacting you about this profile: Robert Treat, Governor of Connecticut

Someone has solved the predicament of numerous copies of Elizabeth Powell.
Now my tree has only one copy of Elizabeth Powell as his second wife.

She married Richard Bryan, Richard Hollingsworth and Robert Treat.
The first two men died, leaving her twice a widow.

Someone merged and others must have followed through.

Many thanks for this speedy solution to the problem.

On my tree, Gov. Robert Treat still has two copies of his first wife, Jane Tapp.

Perhaps this will also be solved in time.

When the profiles involved are public, usually the best thing to do is to post to the discussion topic entitled "ATTENTION Curators, please assist": http://www.geni.com/discussions/80793

No need to do so for the duplicate Jane Tapp, however -- I was able to fix this.

I will look back at my tree and see what is happening.
If it is ok by you, I will ask to collaborate with you and edit if I need to.

If we collaborate it gives us more chances to merge or edit as needed.
