I think that this is the same individual that is called "The Elder of Hamsey" in some records.
The Hamsey records from Canterberry has both a John Randall/Randolph will dated 1551
and a John Randall/Randolph II (or Jr) dated 1566 (both are available online)
If this is the "first" John Randall/Randolph he was called "The Elder of Hamsey" in many records... but that would make the
death date listed above in error...
