• RUMMA, Ülo, kersantti. Sündis 10.05.1918 Tallinnas. Lõpetas 1937 GAG, Sõjakooli lipnikuna, õppis TTÜ keemiaosakonnas. Soome armeesse 24.04.1943, rindel Rajajoel III/JR47-s ja JR6-s. Vabastati teenistusest omal soovil 01.02.1944. Hiljem asus Kanadasse, elas Briti Columbias Nanaimos, suri 22.01.2002 Gibsonis. RUMMA, Ulo

born May 10, 1918 in Tallinn, Estonia passed away at St. Mary's Hospital in Sechelt at age 83 on January 22nd, 2002 following lengthy illness.

Predeceased by his ex-wife Linda RUMMO in 1983 and his infant brother Artur. He is survived by his daughter Mai Liis RUMMA and numerous distant relatives mainly in Estonia. Ulo was survived by his sister Loreida Miralda OJA who passed away May 19th, 2002.

Memorial services for both Ulo and his sister Loore will be held on Friday, June 14th, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church at 6520 Oak Street (at 49th) in Vancouver with a reception to follow. Interment of his cremated remains will be in the family plot in the Vigala cemetery in Estonia planned for 2003.
