About Aaron Rodgers
Aaron Charles Rodgers (born December 2, 1983 in Chico, California) is the starting football quarterback for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League. Rodgers was selected in the first round (24th overall) of the 2005 NFL Draft by the Packers. Rodgers played college football at California, where he set several school records, including lowest interception rate at 1.43%.
Professionally, as of 2011, Rodgers is the NFL all-time career leader in passer rating during the regular season (98.4), and holds the lowest career pass interception rate (1.99%).
On February 6, 2011, Rodgers led the Packers to victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLV and was awarded the game's Most Valuable Player.
