OBITUARY
Abby Semple Doxsee, 89, of Caramillo, died at Pleasant Valley Hospital Saturday, February 24 after a lengthy illness.
She was born July 14, 1894 in Caddo, Okla., and had lived in the county eight years, coming from Los Angeles.
She was a beauty operator.
Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Glenn of Caramillo, Julia Knight of Durant, Okla., and Josephine Salmon of Phoenix; her sons Eugene Doxsee of Texas and John Doxsee of Durant; her sister Dr. Anne Semple of Durant; 15 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Trinity Presbyterian Church in Caramillo with private cremation arrangements under the direction of Griffin Brothers Funeral Chapel in Camarillo.
