Abigail was born about 1716 to Benjamin and Mary Elizabeth (Kay) Wood.

Abigail would marry Robert Hunt around 1734 and together they would have the following children:

1. Rebecca Hunt Lee (c.1735 – 1821
2. Mary Hunt Robins (c.1740 – )
3. Edward Hunt (1744 – 1786)
4. Abigail Hunt Reading (c.1755 – c.1800)
5. Samuel Hunt (1755 – 1825)
6. John Hunt (c.1760 – bef. 1789)

Research Notes

This Biography is in conflict with the Biography of her daughter, Rebecca (Hunt) Lee, regarding Rebecca's mother. This Biography states that Rebecca was the daughter of Abigail and Robert Hunt.

Rebecca's Biography states that she was the daughter of Abigail and Thomas Hunt.

Additionally, the Biography of Thomas Hunt states that Rebecca was the daughter of Thomas Hunt and Hannah Pierson.

Thomas was about 90 years old when he died. His Will was probated March 12, 1790, in Hunterdon County, New Jersey.

Abigail was 82 years of age, away in around 1798.
