Biography ==When Abigail Worthington was born on March 10, 1740, in Colchester, Connecticut, her father, Daniel Worthington, was 41,and her mother, Elizabeth Loomis, was 37. She married Benjamin Mather on March 14, 1763, in Lyme, Connecticut. They had ten children during their marriage. She died on February 12, 1815, in Whately, Massachusetts, at the age of 74, and was buried there.
