Note: Frances's husband's father, Abraham Crowder I, b.c1698, is often mistaken as the husband of a Frances Tucker. He married a Frances ______. This Frances b.1730 is mentioned in B.DeRoy Beale's book "Tucker Trails..." as the wife of ______Crowder. She was the daughter of Robert Tucker, who's will in 1769 provides a Negro girl Chloe for his daughter Frances Crowder. Chloe later appears in the Mecklenburg Co. VA Personal Property Tax List of 1787 under the property of Abraham Crowder, surgeon (born 1730).
