Adaline Irene Vinson, Wade, Trussell

Biography

Adaline “Addie” Irene Trussel (Moseley) was born on December 29, 1899, in Hearne, Robertson County, Texas, United States. Her parents were John Ebenezer Moseley and Alma Estelle Moseley (Sanders). She was a beautiful, sweet-natured, and independent-minded lady, many men during the time she lived didn't understand.

Adaline didn't find her true love until she met, Howard McCormick Trussel later in life, they were married on June 5, 1945, in Dallas, Texas, USA. Married for only 10 years, he died of lung cancer. she was married several times before him, and she often said, no one was as kind, gentle, and loving. She was the happiest during the years she was married to him, never marrying again after his death. He understood and supported her independent nature unusual in the 1940s.

Adaline 1st married George Riley Vinson, Jr an auto mechanic, on July 17, 1920, in Milam, Texas, USA. Her sisters tried to dissuade her, they felt Mr. Vinson was not the right fit for their young sister. Together they had the following children:

• George Riley Vinson, III;
• Tommy Moseley Vinson;
• John William Vinson.

Divorced by 1928, he had custody of his sons. Women divorced in the 1920s lost custody to men if the men wanted the children. He remarried, and a stepmother raised their sons. Mr. Vinson would only agree to the divorce if he had custody of the children. When her sons were teenagers, they did live with her, the three sons appear on Census Records when she was married to Mr. Taylor and Mr. Trussell.

Adaline married William Patrick Taylor on August 10, 1929, in Harrison, Texas, United States.

Divorced by 1934.

Adaline married Earl Love Wade on November 3, 1935, in Harris, Texas, USA. Together they had the following children: Patsy Jean Wade. , the baby died in a car accident.
Divorced before 1939. The death of their child caused the divorce.

Adaline married Howard McCormick Trussel on June 5, 1945, in Dallas, Texas, USA. They were married for 10 years, then he died of lung cancer.

She died on July 1, 1987, in Houston, Harris County, Texas, United States, and was buried in Norwood Cemetery, Hearne, Robertson County, Texas, United States.
