Alice Pigott was perhaps born about 1557, based on her marriage in 1577 in Great Barford, where there are many Pigott entries in the parish register between 1563 and 1600. There's no evidence that she was born in Podington. Merely that she was buried there.

Alice married John Stratton, Sr. on 1 July 1577 in Great Barford, Bedfordshire.[1] Is there anything that links this couple to Podington? Other than the marriage entry and two baptisms in 1577 and 1579 there are no Stratton entries in Gteat Barford parish register, so they appear to have moved away from the village and Podington is only 18 miles distant. Note that neither of two TAG articles describing the parents of Samuel, the emigrant, name John's wife as anything but "Alice ____."[2][3]

Alice (Pigott) Stratton was buried on 11 Nov 1626 in Podington, Bedfordshire.[4]
