Alice is referred to in in the will of her father, John Major, in March of 1647. "My whole estate to be eq. div. by my wife and four children." Alice is named in the will of her stepfather ,Thomas Johnson, in 1658. "William, John, Alie, [ Note, Alice ] and Jane Major to be paid out of my estate what is due them by their father's last will."
