About Alma Augusta Manderscheid
MRS. ALMA MANDERSCHEID, 79, of Route 1, Malone, died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 1978, at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, after a lengthy illness. Born in the town of Calumet on Sept. 9, 1899, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Catherine Rupp Doern. She attended schools in the town of Calumet, and on Sept. 14, 1921 she was married to Raymond Manderscheid in Fond du Lac. Mrs. Manderscheid was a member of Calumet-Chilton Barracks Auxiliary 2205 in Chilton. Surviving are a son, Raymond Jr. of Route 1, Malone; two daughters, Mrs. Howard (Gloria) Sattler of Route 1, Malone, and Mrs. Edmund (Ardis) Swensen of Atlanta, Ga., 14 grandchildren, and four great grandsons. Two daughters preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at Erbe-Evjen Funeral Home, New Holstein. The Rev. Jeff Nichols of St. Paul’s United church of Christ, Malone will officiate. Burial will be in Rothmann Cemetery in the town of Calumet.
