About Amasa Buckingham
Deacon Amasa Buckingham, son of Samuel and Philena ( Williams) Buckingham, was born Nov., 1787, and married Mary Bartholomew in Sept., 1810. He was for many years deacon of the Congregational Church in Centrebrook ; had a decidedly musical talent, and was for many years a teacher of Sacred Music. Mrs. Mary Buckingham died April 7, 1851, and he married 2d, a Miss Fish. He died in Feb, 1862, at Deansville, N. Y.
