Amelia Louisa Chapin was born in Massachusetts on Apr. 22, 1840. She married with WILLIAM HENRY HAILE, son of Gov. WIlliam Haile and Sabrina Shaw Walker. He was born Sept. 23, 1833 in Chesterfield, Cheshire Co., New Hampshire. He died Feb. 13, 1901; she died Sept. 5, 1919. Both buried at Springfield Cemetery, Springfield, Hampden Co., Mass. He was Mayor of Springfield, Mass. in 1881; Lt. Governor of Mass. 1890-1893.
